Wanda Zimmermann: Doppelgänger

In January 2025, the exhibition Doppelgänger took place as part of the OPEN House event at HGK Basel FHNW, hosted in the exhibition space Sincerely. Wanda Zimmermann presented two expressive portrait works, showcasing her distinctive fluid brushwork and bold use of color.

These pieces highlighted Zimmermann’s ability to create new perspectives through spontaneous, gestural painting, seamlessly aligning with the exhibition’s thematic framework. Doppelgänger provided her with the opportunity to share her artistic vision with a wider audience, positioning her work within the context of her studies at HGK Basel.
